Except AI was replying.

Not with "Someone will get back to you."

It talked about melatonin, doctors, missing cats and feelings.

Sir.

You do not sleep. You do not have cats.

Although maybe it was a cat pretending to be AI. Honestly, that feels more believable.

I've managed communities for small companies and big brands, so I get automation.

Confirm the message. Route it. Tell people a human will reply.

Great.

But AI pretending to be the person?

Nope.

That's not community management.

That's AI wearing someone else's name tag.
