How The Spelkultur Videos Were Made
How two short-form videos for Stiftelsen Spelkultur went from storyboard to ChatGPT source images to a CapCut edit.

The Starting Point
Two short social videos with two jobs: introduce a board member, and turn games culture into a playful retro-arcade world. Both had to work sound-off, with on-screen Swedish text.

How I Made It
- Wrote each concept and storyboarded it shot by shot before generating anything
- Chose the compositions myself and used ChatGPT to create supporting source images
- Animated the selected stills and assembled the edit in CapCut
- Set sequencing, pacing and Swedish text timing by hand for sound-off viewing

What Stayed Human
The story, storyboards, shot selection, timing and final edit were mine. ChatGPT made supporting stills and CapCut animated them. Neither video was generated end to end by a tool.
